 Presentation of The City Of Tafraout :

Tafraout is a Berber town of the Moroccan Anti-Atlas situated in 180km in the South of Agadir in the heart of the valley of Ammeln, in the middle of a circus of granit rocks, famous rocks for their colors. Tafraout is surrounded with a myriad of rocks of diverse forms, raising itself above a palm grove which shelters argan trees and plantations of almond trees and olive trees.
The Ammeln, Berber tribe which lives in the valley of Tafraout, cultivate cereal and multiple fruit trees, among which almond trees. During the years an important part of its population emigrated outside the city and outside its region and holds almost everywhere, in Morocco and somewhere else, businesses or other financial or commercial activities. Tafraout is the home town of the big Moroccan writer Mohammed Khaïr-Eddine. Tribes the most close to Tafraout are Ammeln, Tahala, Ida Osemlal, Aît wafka, Amanouz, Tasrirt.
Situated in approximately 200Km of Agadir by Tiznit, and perched in 1200mètres of height, it is one of the most interesting excursions for the tourists in the region, due to the beauty of sites and the variety of the landscapes (standing palm grove of olive trees and almond trees, dry lands).
Tafraout, implanted in the heart of the mountains of pink granite, the city offers to its visitor a place of interest of a rare beauty, strange and grand at sunset, when the sky is fired and grows red for a long time before being tinged with mauve and running away at night. A breathtaking delight.

Tafraout, is never so beautiful and the show also fascinating that in February, in the short-lived hatching of its flowers of almond trees, magic panorama of a natural beauty, with these beautiful sights panoramic engendered by the sets of the sunlight and the flowers.
